Worker sues for lost leg
A worker who lost his leg when it was trapped in a revolving fan while he was dismantling scaffolding is to sue his employers
for up to £300,000. The scaffolding firm is reported to have admitted liability for the injury. He partly fell through metal
caging put around a set of fans. Media reports say that a High Court writ claims that the caging had been damaged prior to
the event and fixed using a piece of string.
