Noise at work injury

A man who worked as a gas fitter/service engineer and was exposed to excessive noise at work without ear protection (until 1985) between 1959 and 1993 has received £7,250 in a settlement. Ear protection was supplied in 1985 but by that time the damage had already been done. He was exposed to noise from drills, grinders and Jack hammers.
