Government responds on H&S accreditation

The Government has responded to the Parliamentary Work and Pensions Committee ‘Third Report of Session 2007-08: The role of the Health and Safety Commission and Health and Safety Executive in regulating workplace health and safety’. It has accepted the need for accreditation of health and safety professionals but rejected a review of the ‘reasonable practicability’ test.
