Is it time for insurers to adopt a climate change exclusion policy?

Notwithstanding the cold winds of the credit crunch, climate change remains one of the insurance market’s hot topics. The
debate, understandably, has focussed on the exposure of those insurers who cover property against catastrophe weather events,
particularly storm and flood. Such extreme weather events are now expected to be more frequent and more intense due to climate
change.
