Locabail (UK) Ltd v Bayfield Properties Ltd and Another and Other Applications (CA TLR 18 November: NLJ 26 November)

Sitting together for the first time, The Lord Chief Justice (Lord (Thomas) Bingham), The Vice-Chancellor (Sir Richard Scott) and Lord (Harry) Woolf considered the circumstances in which a judge should recuse himself from hearing a case on the grounds of bias. ( OED: Recuse: (now rare) to object to a judge as prejudiced).
