Family Proceedings Practice Direction

Practice Direction (Family Proceedings: Application and Costs) ([1999] 1 WLR 128 applied Practice Direction (Civil Litigation: Procedure) ([1999] 1 WLR 1124) about costs supplementing Parts 43 to 48 of the Civil Procedure Rules to Family Proceedings within the Family Proceedings Rules and to proceedings in the Family Division. A new edition of the costs direction, effective from 3 July 2000 had been published (second supplement to the Civil Procedure Rules, paragraphs 43 PD-001 to 006, pp 46-55) and it was hereby directed that the further edition, and all subsequent editions as and when they were published and came into effect, should extend to Family Proceedings and to proceedings in the Family Division in the same way as did the costs direction and to the extent applicable to such proceedings.
