Claims Against Various Defendants
Attorney-General v Matthews (Unreported QBD 14 November 2000)
The respondent sought to resist an application by the Attorney-General for a declaration that he was a vexatious litigant,
having brought 34 civil actions over a period of six years. The respondent argued that he was not vexatious, given that the
claims had not all been repeated against the same defendants. The court that an order was appropriate because the respondent
had habitually and persistently instituted vexatious proceedings.
