Security for costs

Dardana Ltd v Yukos Oil Company (QBD TLR 4 February)

Where a party was challenging the enforcement of a foreign arbitration award, it was right for the court to treat that party as a defendant, with the consequence that the court had jurisdiction to grant security for costs against the holder of the award.
