Speaking at the launch of The Law Society’s Civil and Commercial Mediation Panel, the Lord Chancellor welcomed this accreditation scheme as providing a benchmark of standards for solicitors providing mediation services; it was a major step because, for mediation to grow, it is essential that parties to a dispute can find good quality, reliable, mediators whom they know they can trust.
