Employed barristers to litigate

The LCD has approved changes to the Bar Council’s rules allowing an approved employed barrister after 12 weeks’ training with a practising litigator, to conduct litigation on the same footing as an employed solicitor. The Bar Council will shortly be publishing guidance on the criteria for waiving some of the conditions for eligibility.
