‘Which Court of Appeal do we believe?’ (Mark Harvey, New Law Journal 27 September) ‘Halloran leaves PI “unworkable”’ ( Solicitors Journal, 20 September) ‘Are conditional fees finished?’ (Kerry Underwood, Solicitors Journal, 4 October) were some of the headlines. The contents of the articles to which they refer were no more complimentary about the Halloran v Delaney decision (21/LL p89).
