The marriage had only lasted for 14 months and the judge held the wife to a pre-nuptial agreement in respect of her capital application. In addition he awarded her periodical payments of £15,000 a year. The husband had £25m of assets, £1.2m of which he was ordered to settle for the purchase of a home and furnishings for the child, in addition to which he was ordered to pay £15,000 a year for the child.
