Hansen v Turkey (application no 36141/97) ECHR 23 September

The father abducted the children from Iceland to Turkey, where he obtained a custody order granting the mother contact. Despite travelling to Turkey from her home in Iceland about 50 times she was able to see the children only four times over the following six years, despite the Turkish courts fining the father on three separate occasions.
