Legal advice privilege

Three Rivers District Council and others v Governor and Company of the Bank of England (No 6) HL TLR 12 November

The House of Lords overruled the Court of Appeal (23/ LL p19), holding that communications between solicitors and client regarding advice as to the presentation of material to an inquiry are covered by legal advice privilege and are immune from disclosure.
