DCA Select Committee

The remit of the Constitutional Affairs Select Committee is to examine whether the family court system is being run effectively; whether family court judges have sufficient powers; the problem of delays; and whether people using family courts are getting the service they need. Following the submission of written evidence, oral evidence is to be given to the committee by the President of the Family Division, the Law Society, the Family Bar Association, the Solicitors Family Law Association, and representatives from CAFCASS.
