The instant case was one in which the appellant had been assisted from public funding in bringing her renewed application for permission to appeal. Solicitors and counsel had come all the way from Liverpool for the 10.00am appointment. It could very easily have been conducted by VCF between the Court of Appeal and Liverpool.
