ONLINE MOTOR COVER EXPANDS IN THE UK

Online service provider Tiscali has linked with UK-based Lloyds TSB Insurance to offer insurance services through the Tiscali web portal. Tiscali already offers small business cover through Xbridge and this will not be affected, but Tiscali hopes that the deal with Lloyds TSB will enable it to expand into the domestic retail market. The tie-up will provide quotes through Lloyds TSB’s insurance.co.uk and screentrade.co.uk brands. Meanwhile UK motor magazine Autotrader has added to its web site an insurance comparison service from moneysupermarket.com
