Injured rambler wins compensation

A rambler who was injured while crossing a bridge on a public footpath has won £3,000 in compensation from the local council. The 63-year-old woman was crossing the bridge in a nature reserve in East Sussex when part of the wooden planking collapsed. Her foot fell through the hole and she was thrown backwards.
