Compensation for fall at supermarket
A man who worked as a Large Goods Vehicle driver for a supermarket has been awarded £52,816 for a shoulder injury he sustained
in a fall at a store. He was unloading goods from the trailer of the vehicle onto the scissor lift when he slipped on the
plate of the scissor lift. As he fell his left arm was caught in the railings of a gate nearby and he sustained a twisting
injury.
