Equestrian centre not liable under Animals Act

The claimant fell from a horse supplied by the defendant during a hack escorted by one of its representative. The claimant fell, suffering injury when the horse gave two or three large bucks as it was beginning to canter. When the claimant was allocated the horse she was told that it might buck. Prior to the fall the horse had bucked and the defendant’s representative had stopped the ride and spoke to the claimant who said that she was fine and wished to continue.
