UK-based reinsurance broker Benfield Greig... has received a £270m debt facility from Barclays Capital to fund the company’s proposed $179m acquisition of US reinsurance broker EW Blanch Holdings, refinance some of the two brokers’ existing debt, and provide working capital for their combined operations.
