GHANAIAN BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION BEGINS PROBE INTO SICG

Ghana’s Bureau of National Investigation has begun an investigation into alleged corruption and mismanagement at the government-controlled State Insurance Company of Ghana (SICG), the Ghanaian Chronicle newspaper reports. Former SICG managing director Victor Kusi-Yeboah is to come under particular scrutiny over an alleged bribery scam and several suspected misdemeanours. Mr Kusi-Yeboah has denied any wrongdoing.
