CIRC sets out fresh rules on Chinese firms’ solvency

TO ADDRESS solvency issues arising from the rapid growth of China’s insurance market and its increasingly complex risk environment, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) has introduced a new regulatory regime to supervise the solvency of Chinese insurers.
