Standard Life Investment Funds Ltd v Specialty Retail Group plc Central London County Court, 28 January 2005 (unreported)
This case concerns an application for possession made by a landlord pursuant to s29(2) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
Readers will recall that this is the relatively new procedure whereby once a landlord has given notice that he is opposed
to the grant of a new tenancy, he can apply to the court for an order for the termination of the current tenancy without the
grant of a new tenancy; effectively for a possession order. The application to the court is by way of a CPR Part 7 claim form.
