For the purpose of making periodical payments to a protected party pursuant to a consent order settling a personal injury claim, the costs of complying with a requirement to provide proof of life on specified dates, if significant, should be included with the party’s professional deputy’s costs in each case or elsewhere as appropriate in the damages.
