Lindemann joins CNA

CNA FINANCIAL CORP has appointed Bob Lindemann president and chief operating officer of its commercial lines operations. Lindemann officially joins on August 4 from Zurich North America, where he most recently served as chief operating officer of commercial markets, and will report to Tom Motamed, chairman and chief executive of CNA. In his new role, Lindemann will be responsible for achieving profitable growth in CNA’s $3.5bn commercial property/casualty business, which is comprised of business insurance, serving smaller commercial accounts and commercial insurance, serving middle-market and risk- management accounts.
