Ahlmann joins Deutsche Bank

Kaj Ahlmann, former chairman of Employers Re, has joined Deutsche Bank as managing director and global head of strategic business development at Deutsche Insurance Asset Management. Mr Ahlmann will be based in San Francisco and will report to Randy Brown, managing director and global head of Deutsche Insurance Asset Management. Mr Ahlmann currently serves on the boards of Cyrus Re, The American Institute for CPCU, RLI Corporation and Six Sigma Academy. He will continue to chair Deutsche Insurance Asset Management’s Global Insurance Advisory Council, a group of senior executives and industry experts who provide analysis of the issues and trends facing the insurance industry. The council advises company management on the products and services that will meet the long-term needs of clients. Mr Ahlmann’s career also involves electronic reinsurance venture inreon, where he was chairman.
