Beane says market ‘inertia’ is holding back Lloyd’s Exchange

THE LLOYD’S EXCHANGE has been tried, tested and works but there is still some “inertia” in the London market that needs to be overcome if its capabilities are to “catch fire”, Brit Insurance’s newly appointed chief operations officer, Malcolm Beane, told delegates at the inaugural Insurance Day Technology Forum in London, writes Greg Dobie.
