Compensation for injured cyclist
A cyclist who was struck by a car sustaining injuries and fractures, has received a settlement of £30,000, as well as £23,000
for repayments of NHS charges. The man was retired and so there were no lost earnings. However, his solicitor explained that
the very high care claim was based on the fact that the claimant used to regularly drive far distances to look after his ill
mother, and was now unable to do so after the accident.
