Neglected quadriplegic patient wins £100,000 in damages

A quadriplegic patient of a private medical centre who suffered injuries due to neglect, has been awarded £100,000 in compensation. The medical centre failed to turn him within his bed and move him from his chair at sufficient regular intervals to protect vulnerable areas. They had also failed to ensure that he was protected against injury or damage which might be caused by undue pressure.
