£5,000 damages for ski accident

A man who suffered a knee injury when he was hit by a skier, has been awarded £5,000 in compensation. He was struck from behind by a French skier whilst on holiday in the French Alps. Under French law, the other skier was liable, and the case had to be run through the French legal system with the involvement of a specialist French ski lawyer.
