Improve safety on location for film productions

Theatre, film and event production union BECTU has called on employers in the industry to improve safety on location. Staff and freelance representatives are calling on employers to improve safety on location. This fresh appeal is prompted by persistent concern at the hazards linked to the lack of handrails on facilities vehicles, said BECTU. “While handrails seem an insignificant issue, several of our members have had accidents because they were not in place,” it added.
