The Contract of Carriage
201. Prologue
A contract for the carriage of goods by road entirely within the United Kingdom is governed by national law, i.e., the law of England (Wales and Northern Ireland) or the law of Scotland, as appropriate. However, there appears to be no significant difference in the law of England and the law of Scotland as regards contracts for the carriage of goods by road; and in this book any reference to English law is also a reference to the law of Scotland.
