HUB INTERNATIONAL BUYS INSURANCE AGENCY FROM FIFTH THIRD

Chicago-based broking group Hub International has agreed to acquire Fifth Third Insurance Services, the insurance agency unit of banking group Fifth Third Bancorp. Roger Forystek will remain CEO of Fifth Third Insurance and join Hub’s executive committee. The acquisition includes Fifth Third’s p/c and employee benefits operations, but not its life business.
