Evidence of child

In re W (Children) (Family proceedings: Evidence) [2010] UKSC 12; TLR 8 March; SJ 9 March p154; NLJ 12 March p389

A presumption that a child should not be called to give evidence in family proceedings could not be reconciled with the rights of all concerned in those proceedings under arts 6 and 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights and accordingly would no longer be regarded as appropriate.
