Aon launches risk advisory service in Bermuda

BROKING giant Aon has extended the scope of its Bermuda captive offering to incorporate a new risk advisory service with the launch of Aon Global Risk Consulting Bermuda. Operating as part of the existing Aon Insurance Managers (Bermuda) business, the new operation will encompass the services provided by the Aon Global Risk Consulting network. It will be headed by long-time Aon executive Laura Taylor. Stephen Cross, chief executive of Aon Global Risk Consulting, explained: “Corporations are looking more and more to integrate captive strategies to help manage their total cost of risk as the regulatory process is tightening worldwide. By connecting Aon’s risk-consulting services with its captive-management offering, Aon has created a one-stop shop for corporations seeking traditional and innovative risk-based solutions.”
