NCG Professional Risks renames itself Oxford Insurance Brokers

LLOYD’S broker NCG Professional Risks has changed its name to Oxford Insurance Brokers Ltd. The name change, which takes place with immediate effect, follows a significant investment in the company from BP Marsh & Partners. Following the investment, the broker has targeted a doubling in size during the next five years. The broker had operated under the NCG brand for 11 years and will remain a part of US Risk (UK) Ltd, which in turn is owned by US Risk Insurance Group. Neill Cotton, managing director of Oxford Insurance Brokers Ltd, said: “We have been operating under the NCG brand since 1999 and this name change is the first step on an exciting journey of new growth and expansion. For our clients, it will be business as usual while we diversify into new lines and new areas of geographic spread. This is a new era for Oxford Insurance Brokers.”
