SWEDEN AND FINLAND TO HELP TRYG PREMIUM GROWTH

Denmark-based insurer Tryg is to seek growth in Sweden and Finland in order to compensate for slow growth in the home market. Tryg hopes to generate up to 25% of premium income from the other markets within five years, according to CEO Stine Bosse. Tryg generated 11% of its premiums in Sweden and Finland in the first half. Ms Bosse said that Tryg planned to increase its employer base by up to 75 staff in each country over the next five years.
