Employers must provide protective clothing for damp conditions

Employers should provide employees working in damp conditions for prolonged periods with protective clothing, the High Court has ruled. Employers will now have to reconsider their policies and procedures relating to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and what level of risk of injury will necessitate its use, according to Unite the union.
