Compensation for cycling accidents

A cyclist who was injured when he was knocked from his bike by a car which cut across a cycle lane has received £20,000 in compensation. The cycling accident left him with various injuries to his upper body, which meant he was unable to work for some time. The defendant admitted liability and an out-of-court settlement was made.
