Building Law Monthly
BOOK REVIEW
R ter Haar and C ter Haar Remedies in Construction Law (Informa, 2010), £290 hardback, 399pp + tables and index.
The publication of this book will be welcomed by lawyers working in the construction industry. The authors, a father and daughter
team of barristers, adopt a broad definition of ‘remedy’ so that the book covers not only traditional remedies, such as damages,
specific performance and injunctions but also includes rectification, rescission, termination, frustration and exclusion and
limitation of liability.
