MCKENNA STEPS DOWN FROM AON BOARD

Andrew McKenna has resigned as a director of Aon Corp with effect from last Friday after having served on the board of the global broker/consultant and a predecessor company for more than 40 years, the group said in a federal filing at the weekend. Aon said that Mr McKenna's departure "was not due to any disagreements with the company on any matter relating to the company's operations, policies or practices". Mr McKenna was one of three Aon directors to abstain from a vote on the company's proposed reincorporation to London from Chicago, a transfer that is scheduled to close today. Mr McKenna is chief executive of Illinois-based printing and packaging company Schwartz Supply Source and is the non-executive chairman of McDonald's Corp.
