Argo International appoints professional indemnity underwriter

Lloyd’s insurer Argo International has appointed James McPartland as an underwriter in its professional indemnity team. He will report to Ryan Barnes, Class Underwriter. McPartland has over a decade of experience as a professional indemnity underwriter in the Lloyd’s market. He joins Argo from Barbican Syndicate 1955, where he was senior under-writer responsible for the consistent growth of the PI account. Prior to this, he spent six years as a professional indemnity underwriter with Hiscox.
