£150,000 in compensation for mesothelioma

The widow of a mesothelioma victim has received over £150,000 in compensation. The man worked for marine steam turbine company as an apprentice fitter/engineer from 1948 to 1953. During that time he was exposed to asbestos during the re-fit of a ship called “The World Enterprise.” His former employers and their insurers agreed an out of court settlement.
