New detection system

PSM has designed and developed its FuelWatch system as a low cost solution for the detection and remote reporting of unauthorised bunker fuel and lubricant oil discharge removal from storage cargo and service tanks on offshore and river fuel distribution vessels. FuelWatch can measure all cargo tanks simultaneously with high accuracy and long term reliability. Detection and remote reporting have proven to be a powerful deterrent to the theft of valuable cargo fuel by crew members. FuelWatch system uses a level transmitter in each tank to continuously monitor the contents. The level reading is recorded by a central monitor unit that is cross referenced by time and vessel location obtained from the GPS system.
