Court of Appeal decision in Mitchell case and solicitors’ PI

It might not seem that a court case involving libel allegations would be of relevance to Liability, Risk and Insurance. But surprisingly, it seems that the recent Court of Appeal judgment in Andrew Mitchell MP v News Group Newspapers Ltd ([2013] EWCA Civ 1537) is of considerable interest to solicitors and their professional indemnity insurers.
