2 ENFORCEMENT OF MARITIME CLAIMS 1 INTRODUCTION A list of maritime claims that are within the jurisdiction of the Admiralty Court are found in s 20 of the Senior Courts Act (SCA) 1981. Had the Arrest Convention 1999 been enacted by the UK, 1 it would have enlarged the list of claims and maritime liens that could be enforced in the Admiralty Court.
