President Bush... has signed into law a measure, approved by the US Senate and House of Representatives last month, that extends the federal backstop for terrorism risk insurance through to December 31 2014. The Terrorism Risk Insurance Act was initially passed in the wake of the 2001 terrorist attacks and extended once through to the end of 2007.
