ERS APPOINTS CHIEF RISK OFFICER TO ESTABLISH ERM PROGRAMME

ERS has appointed Ryan Warren as chief risk officer. Warren will also serve as a director of the Equity Syndicate Management Limited Board. He was previously chief risk officer at ProSight and has also served Towers Watson as reserving actuarial partner, when he had responsibility for ERS’s reserves. ERS chief executive Ian Parker said that this experience makes Ryan ideally placed to fulfil the new role. Warren will report directly to Parker and begin his role on April 7. His main responsibility will be to maintain the regulatory infrastructure ERS now has in place and establish an effective enterprise risk management architecture for the company.
