Associate members of the International Salvage Union heard new European guidelines are promised this year, as Maritime Risk International reports

New European guidelines for member states and the shipping sector around ports of refuge should be published before the end of 2015, according to the UK Secretary of State’s Representative for Salvage and Maritime Intervention (SOSREP), Hugh Shaw.
